Terms of Service

Last updated 1 October 2026

The short version

  • veyra is a place to record and understand your money. It never holds, moves, or has access to it, and it connects to no bank.
  • Your records are yours. We store them to run the service, and we never sell them.
  • Nothing here is financial advice. The figures are only as accurate as what goes in, and AI answers can be wrong — check before you act.
  • veyra is built and run by one person and is still growing. Export your data now and then, and expect the occasional rough edge.
  • You can leave whenever you like, and take your data or delete it on the way out.

A summary to help you read what follows — the full text below is what applies.

1. Who we are, and these terms

veyra is a personal finance workspace built and operated by Amiel Brencis Salipande (“we”, “us”). These Terms are the agreement between you and us for your use of veyra. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use veyra.

2. What Veyra is — and what it is not

veyra is a record-keeping tool. You tell it what happened with your money — an expense, a transfer, a bill you paid, a loan repayment — and it keeps those records and works out your balances, summaries, and forecasts from them.

veyra does not hold, move, or have access to your money. It does not connect to your bank, card, or e-wallet accounts, and it cannot make payments or transfers. When you “pay a bill”, “settle up”, or “transfer” in veyra, you are recording something you did elsewhere — nothing leaves any account because of it. The balances you see are calculated from the records in your workspace, not read from your bank.

veyra is not a bank, an e-money issuer, a payment or remittance provider, a lender, a broker, or a financial adviser, and it is not licensed or supervised by any financial regulator.

3. Your account

You sign in with your GoogleGoogle account, through our authentication provider, ClerkClerk. Keeping that Google account secure is up to you, and you are responsible for what happens in your workspace while you are signed in. You must be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live.

4. Your data

You own the information you put into veyra — your accounts, transactions, bills, budgets, goals, and notes. You allow us to store and process it only to run veyra for you. We do not sell it, share it publicly, or use it for advertising. How we handle it is set out in the Privacy Policy.

If you link with another veyra user and choose to share an expense with them, you are asking us to send the details of that record to them. Only someone you have deliberately linked with can receive one, and only the records you choose. The exact details that are sent are listed in the Privacy Policy.

5. Fair use

When you use veyra, please do not:

  • use it for anything unlawful, or to store unlawful content;
  • try to reach another person’s workspace or data;
  • probe, scrape, overload, or get around its security or usage limits, or disrupt how it runs;
  • copy, reverse engineer, or resell it, except where the law allows.

6. Information, not advice

veyra helps you see your own money clearly. It does not give financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice, and its calculations, forecasts, and insights are for your information only. Decisions about your money are yours, and where it matters, please talk to a qualified professional.

What you see is only as accurate as what goes in: the records you enter, the statements you import, and the information below from other services. Please check your records against your bank or card statements from time to time.

  • Ask Veyra and other AI features run on OpenAIOpenAI, and can misread a receipt, mishear a voice note, or get a figure wrong. Nothing an AI feature drafts is recorded until you confirm it, so look it over first.
  • Exchange rates come from WiseWise. They are reference mid-market rates for working out an amount in another currency — not the rate your bank, Wise, or anyone else will actually give you.
  • Crypto-asset prices on the Watchlist come from CoinGeckoCoinGecko. They are for tracking only, may be delayed or wrong, and are not an offer or a recommendation to buy or sell. Holdings you enter there are figures you typed, not assets we hold or check, and they are not counted in your net position. Crypto-asset prices move sharply and you can lose money; check a regulated exchange before you act.
  • Logos, place names, and maps come from third parties too, and can occasionally be wrong or missing.

7. Keep your own copy

We work hard to keep your data safe and available, but veyra is run by one person, and no service can promise it will never lose anything. You can export your whole workspace from Settings at any time, and we recommend doing so now and then — especially before making large changes.

8. Availability, limits, and changes

veyra is provided “as is” and “as available”. It is actively developed, so we may add, change, or remove features, and we may pause or end the service — with reasonable notice where we can give it. We aim for it to be accurate and always up, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or free of errors.

Some features have per-account limits. Ask Veyra runs on a paid third-party service, so the number of questions one account can ask in a short time is capped; reaching it shows a message, and the limit clears on its own. We may adjust these limits to keep veyra available and affordable.

9. Leaving, or being asked to leave

You can stop using veyra at any time. From Settings you can export your workspace or permanently delete it; to close your account entirely, email us and we will delete it. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously breach these Terms, or use veyra in a way that puts other people or the service at risk.

10. Tips are gifts

If you choose to send the developer a tip — the coffee and cookie on the Support page — it is a voluntary gift to Amiel Brencis Salipande, not a payment for veyra. It does not buy any feature, support, or other right, it does not change these Terms, and it cannot be refunded. It goes straight from your bank to theirs; veyra never sees it.

11. Our responsibility to you

Because veyra only keeps records and never touches your money, we are not responsible for financial decisions you make, or for losses that come from relying on its figures, forecasts, or AI answers; from records that were entered or imported incorrectly; from information supplied by the third-party services above; or from someone using your Google account.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for veyra in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under consumer protection law that cannot be limited, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as veyra changes. When we make an important change we will update the date at the top and, where it is appropriate, let you know. If you keep using veyra after a change, the updated Terms apply.

13. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines. Questions about them are welcome at absalipande@gmail.com.
